People say they wish to hear the truth.
But while saying so, they have lied themselves.
Most people don’t want to hear to truth.
They only want to hear what would make them happy.
Or what makes sense to them.
Anything that they don’t understand gets passed off as a lie.
Understanding this, I feel like it’s so hard to tell the truth.
Even if I do say the truth, no one would believe me.
They would say coincidences like so cannot be real.
This world is confusing.
When is it right to tell the truth?
What can I possibly say that won’t make others judge me?
What can I do to stay an honest and pure person in the eyes of others?
I find it impossible.
Sometimes, lying is the only way to be accepted.
The only way to be trusted.
To be given another chance.
Because even if I’ve done nothing wrong, even if I’ve told the truth all along, no one would believe me if it doesn’t make sense in their eyes.
